A word cloud is mostly used to visualise data from texts. It is a representation of the most frequent words in a reading text for instance. Word clouds can be very useful for visual learners to help them to grasp the main idea of a reading text or to highlight specific vocabulary items. They can also be used to group words into categories or even create and design word games.
